Built to connect compliance with the decisions behind it.

Daniel founded Fintaxe to give clients a more connected relationship with tax and finance work—one where accurate reporting supports better questions, better planning, and better decisions.

As a Certified Public Accountant and Certified Internal Auditor, Daniel brings both a tax-and-accounting perspective and a disciplined view of reporting processes, controls, and financial information. His fractional CFO work also keeps the advice grounded in the realities owner-led businesses face: cash flow, growth, competing priorities, and limited management time.

Fintaxe operates virtually from Westminster, Maryland. TaxDome supports the client workflow, and QuickBooks Online is an established part of the firm's accounting work.

Working principles

What clients should expect from the relationship.

No inflated promises or one-size-fits-all packages. The scope starts with the facts and the work that will actually help.

01 / CLARITY

Plain-language explanation

You should understand what was done, why it matters, and which decisions or deadlines come next.

02 / CONNECTION

Work that fits together

Tax filings, books, forecasts, and business decisions are treated as connected—not as isolated transactions.

03 / JUDGMENT

Advice shaped by context

Recommendations depend on your facts, constraints, and goals. Tradeoffs are explained instead of hidden.

Engagement approach

A clear path from question to completed work.

The process is deliberately straightforward, with a defined scope and secure document exchange.

01

Initial fit

Start with the service needed, relevant deadline, and enough context to determine whether Fintaxe is a fit.

02

Scope and information

Define the work, deliverables, timing, responsibilities, and information needed to begin.

03

Work and communication

Exchange documents through the client workflow, resolve questions, and complete the agreed deliverables.

04

Next steps

Close with an explanation of the result and any planning, compliance, or reporting items that deserve attention.
